Let me Introduce myself a bit...

  • My nationality is Hispanic. ~Puerto Rican~ (Born in Kissimmee, Florida)
  • I am a military child, currently living on Macdill Air Force Base. (10 mins from school)
  • I have 2 sisters and I am the oldest!
  • I have 3 cats and three dogs.
  • I love music, especially Vinyl Records!
  • I love many different movies including Mamma Mia, Death Becomes Her, and Tootsie
  • I am big on Makeup! I love makeup very much because it expresses my creativity.
  • I am very big on culture. I love everything about culture when it comes to food, music, and morals. 
  • Yes, I do have red hair, but it is not my natural hair color. 
  • I love playing sports! (Volleyball, Soccer, Flag Football and Basketball).
  • I love to dance and sing, especially to movie musicals/Broadway musicals. 

This is my cat Meryl. She is named after the famous actress Meryl Streep

Post #18- LECTURE - ELECTRONIC MEDIA and PERFORMANCE

 Experimental film is performance art with a camera. It doesn't have to tell a story, or it doesn't have to have a message. It can relate to deep feelings or messages, or it can also be very boring. It was social and personal expression. There was no wrong answer. 9 evenings and theatre and engineering were becoming performance and technology. It was Avant Garde. Anything is art. Scientists began to create art. EAT (experience art and technology) was many people coming together to create art. It showed collaboration of art and technology. Electronic art works with technology! Father of video art Naum June Paik purchased the first Sony portapak. He created a brand-new art form.... Video Art. He also created the Magnet T.V.  Post #2- Raul Cuero I very much agree with Raul Cuero. Being able to innovate is having something added onto, but being able to invent is way more important because we get to be a part of something new.  Everyone can be creative especially those who want to invent something are more creative than those who want to innovate on something that has existed. Everyone has their own creative mind and I agree with what he said over being you and your own inventor.  In my daily life, I can apply what Raul said, by being able to not follow instructions that were given but being able to innovate them and apply and invent new ones that can get me a better end result.
